Former Kogi State Gov's Son,And Other PDP Top Shots Decamp To APC InKogi State.

Kogi East zonal campaign rally of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Anyigba witnessed a large turn-out of decampees from the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

In what came as a surprise to many, incumbent House of Representatives member (Ankpa/Omala/Olamaboro) and son of immediate past governor, Hon. Muhammed Ibrahim Idris, attended the APC rally. He came in company of Air Marshal Isaac Atawodi, another PDP top shots.

Other decampees are Senator Nicholas Yahaya Ugbane, Elder Ubolo Itodo Okpanachi, Senator Usman Alex Kadiri, Hon. Tim Nda Diche, Hon. Positive Abdul Ihiabe and Alh. Abubakar Railway.

A source confirmed that the decamping of these politicians are as a result of unfavourable outcome in the last PDP primaries across Kogi West. Most of these old politicians felt shortchanged and are eager to prove pundits wrong that they are no longer relevant in Kogi politics.
