Paul Adefarasin’s House On The Rock Brings ‘Selma’ To Nigeria.
The House On The Rock Church led by top Nigerian minister, author and social transformer, Paul Adeolu Adefarasin, is set to bring the 2014 American blockbuster, Selma to its members as well as those interested in the movie in Nigeria. According to reports, the movie will be screened at the church auditorium and interested viewers can register for free now on Afritickets.
Sources say the move is to promote peace in Nigeria at this volatile period in the country. Founded in 1994 by Pastor Paul Adefarasin, House of the Rock is mostly known for organising the massive annual gospel music concert tagged ‘The Experience‘ and featuring the global heavyweights in the gospel music circuit year in year out. Selma is a 2014 American historical drama film based on the 1965 Selma to Montgomery voting rights marches led by James Bevel, Hosea Williams, Martin Luther King, Jr. and John Lewis. Directed by Ava DuVernay and written by Paul Webb and Ava DuVernay, the film stars British actors, David Oyelowo, Tom Wilkinson, Tim Roth, Carmen Ejogo, and American rapper and actor.
