Benue APC House Of Reps Candidate Raises Alarm Over Opponent's Plans To Sew Police & Army Uniforms For Thugs To Intimidate Voters On Election Day..

The supremacy battle between these two people is still brewing hot,Remember the corpse story?Well Dickson Tarkighir who is the  APC , House of Reps candidate for Makurdi / Guma Federal Constituency,  is  alleging  that the Peoples Democratic Party ( PDP ), candidate for the same seat Hon John Tondu is plotting to intimidate his supporters.

In a petition written by the candidate to the state commissioner of Police and the Director State Security Services, he is alleging that his opponent Hon. John Tondu has perfected plans to also frame him up in orchestrated acts of violence which will lead to his arrest.

According to him, the PDP candidate recently conveyed a meeting of his strategy team in Makurdi at the Palm Garden Hotel, on March 4, 2015 to hatch this plot, which also include sewing of Police uniforms for thugs sympathetic to his cause, whose mandate on election day was to scare voters away by sporadic shooting at polling station loyal to the APC.

His words ......
... The first strategy is to frame me up in orchestrated acts of violence which would eventually lead to my arrest. This is to be carried out by pasting my posters and campaign materials on vehicles procured by Hon. John Tondu, which will be used in perpetrating acts of arson, brigandage molestation and disturbance of peace. The second approach is to sew police and army uniforms for an army of thugs whose mandate on election date is to embark on shooting sprees in my strongholds so as to deter eligible voters from coming out to vote".

 It read in part.
While appealing that the allegations be not taken with a pinch of salt, he expressed his fear in the ability of Hon. John Tondu to cause violence even as various acts of violence have been linked to him including recent attacks on APC campaign offices and materials.
Mr. Tarkighir, thus appealed to the security authorities to tackle the issues raised in a manner to bring about peace even as he pledged his desire to ensure a peaceful polity even in the face of unprovoked attacks on my supporters and campaign materials.

We will wait for a response from Hon John Tondu's team.
