Photos News -Benue PDP Guber Candidate, Terhemen Tarzoor"s Campaign Train Hits Makurdi Town.
It was a very busy day for Rt Hon Terhemen Tazoor as he started the day by officially inaugurating the office of Benue Synergy for Tarzoor (BEST) at No 5, Gbehe Ikya Crescent, Hudco Quarters, Makurdi yesterday the 9th day of March 2015. He expressed his joy at the good use the group was putting the building which was his former campaign office to. After inspecting the office complex, he addressed party faithfuls and urged everyone to work hard and contribute to the success of the project, stressing that no matter how little an effort is, it's collective effect (SYNERGY) can never be overlooked.
See pictures from the inauguration...
Job Tsegha coordinator of the group spoke on behalf of other members. He promised unalloyed support towards the candidature of Hon Tarzoor and Hon Ngbede. He stated that as for him and his group, they were in synergy as exemplified by their name. They offered campaign materials to governorship aspirant and his team there present. Materials like branded phones, recharge cards, musical equipment and an issue based news paper.
The PDP gubernatorial candidate was obviously pleased and thanked the group for their support, expressing profound gratitude at the gesture. He stated that the group led by Job Tsegha was fortunate, having known Job as a young man who distinguished himself right from his youth. He again expressed contentment at the campaign style of the group and urged other groups out there to emulate the Benue Synergy for Tarzoor BEST. Hon Job Tsegha also added that Benue Synergy for Tarzoor is willing to provide musical equipment for any group recognised for its hard work to mobilise supporters and campaign massively for Hon Terhemen Tarzoor and other PDP contestants and ever so ready to do more.
Meet The People Tour in Makurdi Modern Market
The group led by Prince Terhemen Tarzoor then embarked on a "Meet the People Tour" which led them to the Makurdi Modern Market. Traders, artisans, and shoppers flocked to welcome the unannounced guest. Again proving to naysayers and "online analysts" that Hon Terhemen Tarzoor has a huge support base that is growing by the day. Rt Hon Terhemen Tarzoor and Hon Job Tsegha were not in a rush, they and the entire entourage made their way through the market dissecting each section by bits meeting virtually everybody personally. Again a record of handshakes were exchanged, as it's slowly becoming a trend wherever the gubernatorial candidate makes an appearance.
While making his way through modern market comlex, Makurdi was offered food at a local diner by the owner.
Hon Tarzoor was not in the habit of resisting food offered so joyfully, especially considering her the exceptional culinary skills of Benue women and the Tiv culture. The PDP gubernatorial candidate washed his hands, and swallowed with obvious enjoyment the delicious meal placed in front of him. The palatability of the meals if ever debatable was no longer so, and I assure you pictures from the scene beat any meal advert you've ever watched on television.
Tribe was not a factor, neither was religion as everyone halted their trading activity to welcome Hon Terhemen Tarzoor. Speaking to traders, market unions and women, he promised to offer platforms of incentives, loans, grants and improved economical policies if elected as governor. The seasoned development and monetary economist offered on the spot expert analysis, promising to propound better trade policies and ties with neighbouring states and nations that will benefit the average Makurdi trader in a tremendously fulfilling way.
THE PRIDE OF A MOTHER
Like Timaya posited in his popular song, "I'm still that plantain boy, pikin wey the give him Mama joy...." Mrs Tarzoor Orbiam popular known by her close friends and family as "The Prof" was all smiles today as her son, made a visit to the Makurdi Modern Market where she chooses to ply her trade of fashion design even till today. Mrs Orbiam is known as a woman of modest pursuits, and her son's rise in political office has never been a reason to stop relying on the provision her hands offer her.
Seeing the way market traders flocked to the scene of Hon Tarzoor entering and the jovial basis on which he interacted with everyone, those he remembered and those he was meeting for the first time, it was clear her joy was one of fulfillment. She had brought up a son who was a natural leader, every mother dreams of that moment, and she had hers come to reality.
