Rt. Hon. Terhemen Tarzoor was yesterday received warmly by the Ipusu women association at Ankpa Ward, Wadata, Makurdi. He was accompanied by Hon Terwase Aondoakaa, Dr Omenka, Sen. Prof. Amb. Iyorwuese Hagher, Hon Paul Harris Ogbole, and Hon. Dickson Igbe, Barr. Henkyaa. Chants of “the man weh sabi rang loudly wherever he went. The people were jubilant, and they shook hands with Prince Tarzoor, embraced him and walked with him from the junction of Ankpa Ward to Naka Street where the event held.

Barr Henkyaa received the PDP aspirant, describing him as homegrown, tested and trusted. He said Tarzoor is the choice of God and has been rewarded for keeping the faith and never seeking selfish gain by decamping.

Mama Ipusu, Mama Tashan Henkyaa also welcomed the aspirant and his campaign team to the area. She made it clear to the aspirant that they were all solidly behind him. A statement that was met with a resounding acceptance from the women present. She said Hon Tarzoor has a heart of a lion, and he would thus make a good leader.

Mr Kpojime Michael AKA “Angle 90” had very nice words to describe the honourable gentleman. He is selfless, gentle, intelligent and visionary he said.

Tersaar Udo promised to support Hon Tarzoor with all tenacity. He said the community has always worked hard to achieve success in elections and would do same this year.
Baba Kankwe spoke on the need for the community to support Hon Tarzoor as he is one of their own sons. He also stressed that some issues were too superficial to derail the community’s support of the PDP aspirant’s candidature.

Prof Hagher the DG of the Tarzoor/Ngbede Campaign began with chants of the man weh sabi, making the crowd go berserk like a pop star was in the vicinity. He stated that Tarzoor was qualified and competent to lead the state and the state is getting an economist in a timely manner, when the nation’s economy is at an all time low.

Hon. Terhemen Tarzoor on his part urged members to come out enmass and vote for all PDP candidates. He was clear to reiterate that the presidential elections are very important and the momentum gathered from a victory will be very much welcome.
He urged everyone present not to seek revenge and to live in peaceful harmony. All provocations must be channeled to the appropriate authorities as law abiding citizens. He advised all youths to vote for him and protect their votes jealously.

His final remark centered on being true to yourself and to God. He said “we will continue to worship God, and we will never seek the destruction of life and property for any cause. He again said “young men and women are capable of leading the state and country” as such he would strive to give his best if given the mandate.
