True confessions! I don’t have good friends -Suswam

If for nothing, Benue State Governor, Gabriel Suswam, got a free lesson of life from what transpired during the presidential and National Assembly election in his state.

That lesson is to know how to pick his friends in the future, because according to him, he lost his bid to go to the Senate because he was betrayed by friends and close aides.
Suswam contested the Benue North-East Senatorial seat but was roundly defeated by the incumbent Senator, Barnabas Gemade.
He stated this on Friday in Makurdi, the state capital, while assenting to the bills on Chieftaincy Affairs and Revenue Enhancement, presented to him by the Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Terseer Ayua.
He said, “I was betrayed by friends, even people close to me during the election, which made me lost. I think I have learnt from that and, for me, the permanent thing in life is change.”
