Fayose Exposes Muazu's Romance With APC.
Gov. Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State has made real his threat to expose the underhand deals between the National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Adamu Mu’azu and the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Speaking during a programme on Channels TV titled, View from the Top, on Monday, Fayose recalled the treatment he got during a visit to Mu’azu five days before his election in 2014.
He noted that Mu’azu kept him waiting for hours, five days to the Ekiti election because he was meeting with the National leader of the APC, Bola Tinubu.
He said he was surprised that Mu'azu has to keep his party members waiting for hours just because he is meeting the leader of the opposition.
He stressed that Mu’azu was not committed to PDP as he was often absent when the party needed him.
He added that the Chairman has continued to deceive President Goodluck Jonathan.
He stated that on the day the presidential election was held, Mu’azu was not in the country.
He, however, admitted, that the APC presidential candidate, Muhammadu Buhari won the presidential election because Nigerians wanted a change.
Fayose said despite Buhari’s massive northern support, the PDP should have been able to get more than 10 percent of the total votes cast in Bauchi State.
He wondered why PDP failed to get up to 10% of the votes in Bauchi State despite the party having a sitting governor, a Minister and the National Chairman as indigenes of the state.
