Benue State Assemby Ad Hoc Committee Visits Dangote Cement PLC Over Corporate Social Responsibility To The Host Community.

 
The Benue State House of Assembly Ad Hoc Committee looking into the State of Bad Federal Roads in Benue State and Other Matters Connected today paid a working visit to  Dangote Cement Company, Gboko.


The Terms of Reference of the Committee bothers on Dangote Cement PLC with particular regards to the poor state of the road within the company's precincts, the vehicular congestion therein, the company's Corporate Social Responsibility to the host community and the State, compliance or otherwise of the company with environmental safety standards, etc.
The committee is also interfacing with supervising agencies such as the State Ministry of Commerce and Industries, Federal Roads Safety Corps (FRSC) National Environmental Standards Regulation Enforcement Agency (NESREA), Federal Roads Maintenance Agency ((FERMA), Federal Ministry of Works, Benue State Environmental Sanitation Authority (BENSESA), Science & Technology component of the Ministry of of Education, Science Technology.

On this team are Rt. Hon. Ngunan Addingi heading the Committee; Rt. Hon. Dr. Adoga Onah, Hon. Daniel Abbagu, Hon. Ucha Terka Dominic and Hon. Barr. Okloho John Adam
