Good Morning Dear Friends,

I would like to share with you the story of a baby boy battling with several medical conditions barely months after his birth. No one should have to face such a stressful childhood, I am deeply concerned about him and I thought a few well meaning Nigerians can come to his aid.

He is Master James Ivande Kuanum-Kassar. He is just a year and a few months old now. He was born to Mr and Mrs Kassar of No &, Iorkyaako Street, Highlevel, Makurdi in Benue State. James has been operated on by several doctors: Dr C. Soo, Dr Joe Obande, Dr Yongo Williams and Dr Swende who took delivery of him.
He has been diagnosed of needing a two step operation by the Prashanth Hospital in India. The letter from the hospital’s rep Dr Geetha Haripriya (below) describes his case as needing Ventricular Peritoneal Shunt Excision of Meningomycloecele.

The cost to cover both procedures is approximated at $9,000 or N1,791,000 as of today’s exchange rate.
