Workshop On Capacity Building For Treatment Of Drug Addicts Opens In Makurdi,Benue State .( Pictures).

 

Benue State  Governor Dr Samuel Ortom yesterday  declared open a stakeholders’ workshop on capacity building for treatment of addicts yesterday with plans to establish community-based treatment centres for drug addicts.
The workshop is organised by the state government in collaboration with the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) anchored by office of wife of the governor. According to him, his administration would partner with civil society organisations to begin the process of helping to identify suitable facilities where such centres could be located with a view to equipping them preparatory to commencing work.
