Fire Razes Grand Square Shopping Mall ,Abuja.

A popular shopping mall at the central business district area of Abuja, Nigeria’s capital city, was razed on Friday afternoon, PREMIUM TIMES has reported.

Witnesses said the entire shopping area was razed as customers and staff were seen fleeing the scene.

A staff of the mall who spoke to PREMIUM TIMES said at the moment no one could tell the cause of the fire.

“The entire shopping hall was destroyed by the fire,” he said.

Our reporter gathered that security personnel at the gate stopped onlookers and journalists from gaining access into the premises.

Security staff of the mall said no life was lost as firefighters controlled the situation on time.
