Azi who was sworn in on Friday, 11th December, was involved in a fatal motor accident on Sunday, 13thDecember at Garaku, Nasarawa State. Plateau State Governor, Simon Dalong, in a press statement described the Chairman elect’s death as “very shocking”.

According to the statement, Dr. Hosea was involved in an accident on his way to Abuja, when the vehicle he was travelling in, rammed into a stationary truck resulting in his death and that of two others.
