Saraki Sets Up Another Constitution Review Committee.

         

The Senate President, Senator Bukola Saraki, on Tuesday set-up an Adhoc Committee on the Review of 1999 Constitution.But Saraki told the members of the Committee to restrict travelling across the country during the review.
According to Saraki, the Committee will be chaired by the Deputy Senate President, Senator Ike Ekweremadu.

Senators that are part of the review Committee are Gorge Akume, Emmanuel Paulker, Dino Melaye, John Enoh, Oluremi Tinubu, Mohammed Ndume, Abiodun Olujimi, Danjuma Goje, Aliyu Wammako, Shehu Sani, Abu Ibrahim.
Others are Shabba Lafiagi, Gbenga Ashafa, David Umoru, Gbolahan Dada, Joshua Dariye, Sani Yerima, Rose Oko, Sunny Ogboji and Hope Uzodinma.
Since the return to democracy, several attempts have been made to review the Constitution.
The last attempt was said to have gulped over N8 billion over time.
