House Of Reps Member Appoints 43 Legislative Aides.

The National Assembly member representing Lagelu/Akinyele federal constituency of Oyo State, Mr Olatoye Temitope, aka Sugar, has appointed no fewer than 43 people as legislative assistants in his constituency.

While presenting letters of appointment to the legislative assistants at the end of the year ceremony held at the party’s secretariat in Ejioku, Lagelu Local Government Area of Oyo State, the All Progressives Congress (APC) federal lawmaker stated that out of the new appointees, 33 of them were legislative assistants while the remaining 10 were given senior legislative assistants appointments.
About 2,000 APC leaders and members from both Lagelu and Akinyele Local Government Areas of the state were in attendance.
Gift items worth millions of naira were distributed by the lawmaker.
Justifying the appointment of such a large number of people that would work in his constituency, Olatoye noted that he decided to have as many as 43 legislative assistants because of his desire to always be in touch with his constituency members.
