How to Get a Stylish Manicure with Newspaper Prints (video intruction available)
Nail art has come a very long way since the days of just brushing on some simple nail polish once a week. Nowadays, designs can range from very simple to the most intricately sophisticated.
In the below video, there’s a super simple beauty hack that will make your friends ask, “How did you do that?!” All you need to get this cool decoupage-like effect is white polish, some rubbing alcohol to transfer the ink, newspaper, and a top coat.
Instructions:
1. First, tear up the newspaper into 10 pieces – one for each nail.
2. Then pour a small amount of the rubbing alcohol into a shallow dish or small cup.
3. Set the newspaper pieces and rubbing alcohol aside.
4. Paint your nails with your base coat.
5. Once your base coat is dry, paint your nails with whatever light-colored polish you like.
6. After your nail polish is completely dry, dip your finger into the rubbing alcohol and hold for 5 seconds.
7. Remove your finger and press a piece of the newspaper onto your nail. Hold in place for approximately 15 seconds.
8. Peel the newspaper away, and repeat on each of your fingers.
9. Then seal the deal with a top coat.
