Veteran Nollywood Actor And ‘Village Headmaster’ Star, Jab Adu Dies At 83.



Nigerian actor Jab Adu has died.
He died on Sunday in his country home in Abeokuta Ogun State.
The actor was aged 83.

Known for his role in the ‘Village Headmaster’ Jab Adu, a trained banker, worked with the Central Bank of Nigeria until 1970 when he quit the job and took up acting full time.
He rose to fame as ‘Bassey Okon’ in the Nigerian Television Authority drama series, ‘The Village Headmaster’.
He is also credited as the producer of “Bisi, Daughter of the River” and “Adio’s Family”.
