Logo State Const.State Assembly Member Hon Terna Kyenge Expresses Shock At The Spate Of Damage In His Constituency By Fulani Invaders.

The Benue Assembly member representing Logo state constituency, Hon Dr.Kester Terna Kyenge today 11/03/16 visited some places in Gaambe-tiev, Logo LGA affected by the recent Fulani herders attack.

This on the spot assessment is prompted by the persistent reports from Chief Anawah Joseph concerning the Fulani invasion of his people. The Lawmaker who went to Mbagber and Ukemberagya/Tswarev wards expressed worry at the spate of damage by this invaders.

Addressing people who came out from their hideouts at Uwev Gov in Mbagber ward Dr Kester Kyenge commiserated with them over the lost of lives and prayed God to console those who lost loved ones during the sustained attacks by the cattle marauders.

At Tse Indyerkaa and Jootar in Ukemberagya/Tswarev ward the Lawmaker promised to present their plight on the floor of the State Assembly for succour. He lamented the absence of camps to cater for the over ten thousand internally displaced people of the area. This on the spot assessment visit by the state Assembly member to the area has brought hope to the people.

They were happy that the Lawmaker has taken time to physically visit some of the attacked places by the Fulanis a clear departure from a recent media team visit to Logo where they were not taken to the affected places but rather to a traditional ruler's village and farm where there was no damage. Hon Dr.Kester Kyenge was accompanied on the visit by some stakeholders including Rev Hon Samuel Aluga, Hon Aondolumun Ulaha, Hon Terkem Ukusa among many others.
