EFCC invites Benue Speaker,House leadership over N750million contract for the purchase of cars.




The Speaker of the Benue House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Terkimbi Ikyange and the leadership of the Benue State House of Assembly has been invited by the Economic and Financial Crime Commission in Abuja in connection with a N 750 Million contract for the purchase of cars awarded immediately after the inauguration of the House.


According to IPN News ,contact within the EFCC, the request for appearance followed a tip-off by a prominent opposition member of the House who was not satisfied with the way the House was being managed and with the way the opposition was being marginalised by the leadership of the house.

Those expected to appear before the EFCC starting from Monday next week are the Speaker of the House, Rt. Hon. Terkimbi Ikyange, the Deputy Speaker, Hon. James Ejembi Okefe, the Majority Leader, Hon Adanyi and the Deputy Majority Leader, Hon. Nick Eworo.
