NHRC investigates killing of Nasarawa workers by police.

The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) says it has commenced full scale investigation into the alleged killing of two workers by the police in Nasarawa State.

Executive Secretary of the Commission Professor BemAngwe, disclosed this yesterday during a visit to the Nasarawa State Police Commissioner in Lafia.

Angwe said the investigation was necessitated after the commission received a letter of complaint from the NLC president over the death of the two workers in front of the Nasarawa State Government House.

In his response, Nasarawa State Commissioner of Police, AbubakarSadiq-Bello said the police command will fully cooperate with the NHRC investigative team in their work.
