Rihanna to Be Honored With MTV’s Video Vanguard Award At VMAs + Rih Will Flex Her Acting Chops In All-Female ‘Oceans 11’ Reboot

That Rihanna reign isn’t letting up anytime soon. She’s set to receive MTV’s top honor at this year’s Video Music Awards. Not only that, the Bajan beauty will be flexing her acting chops in an all-female Oceans 11 reboot.

Major congrats to Rihanna!

The “Work” singer will be honored with MTV’s top honor as she will be the recipient of the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award at this year’s Video Music Awards, set to air live Sunday, Aug. 28 at New York’s Madison Square Garden. She’ll be joining the ranks of Beyonce (who won in 2014) and Kanye West (who copped the award in 2015).
