Rita Dominc, Charles Inojie Solicit Funds For Ailing Colleague, Leo Mezie

Nollywood stars came out in one voice to support their ailing colleague, Leo Mezie, who was diagnosed with a kidney problem.
Rita Dominic and Nollywood filmaker, Charles Inojie solicited for funds from well to do Nigerians in a bid to save him.

The Abia State born actor has been away from the actnig scene for a while now. According to report, the actor thought he could managed the ailment by funding his treatment but it has gone to advance level which required lot of money.

He has been battling with the ailment until his second kidney failed some weeks back. He needs the sum of N10 million to travel to India for a kidney transplant.

Rita Dominic and Charles Inojie took to their respective Instagram accounts to solicit help for the dying actor. They posted a picture of Leo on the sick bed with the caption:

‘Hello my family, friends and fans all over the world. I ask of u most passionately to give ur window’s mite to help a friend, brother and colleague (LEO MEZIE)who urgently requires a 10million naira medical intervention to stay alive. It sounds big, but where there’s a will they say, there’s a way. Together, we can make this happen. May the sacrificial reward of giving never elude any of us,’Charles Wrote.

Rita also did same by writing:

‘My people, I’m here to plead again for my dear colleague Leo Mezie.. Please let’s give whatever we can to save this talented actor’s life. God bless you all for standing by Nollywood always.’

The popular Labista star joined Nollywood in 2006 and he has since featured in several Nollywood movies.
