Ballet dancer suffered fatal head injuries and dies after he came off his motorbike and smashed into a lamppost.

A top ballet star died when his motorbike was hit by a minicab as the driver made a hands-free call on his mobile, a court heard.
Acclaimed dancer Jonathan Ollivier, 38, was on his way to give his final performance of the season as the lead role in Matthew Bourne's The Car Man when he was killed.

Driver Abdul Qayyum stands accused of causing death by careless driving following the crash in Clerkenwell, central London, on August 9 last year.

Highbury Corner Magistrates' Court heard Qayyum had both earphones in when he pulled out of a junction 'abruptly' before hitting Mr Ollivier with his Mercedes E320.
