China's record breaking Glass Bridge closed by Chinese officials. PHOTOS

China holds the record for the longest glass bridge in the world. You heard that right!The 430-metre long Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon glass bridge which is suspended 300-metred above a valley was launched barely two weeks ago.

It has now been closed by Chinese officials for an “internal system update”.

The bridge has recorded 10,000 visitors since it opened, proving more popular than expected.
