The Return to Agriculture and the Farm is Mrs Ortom's new campaign, she posted some pictures of her self on her farm today with the message below.....
The message is clear!!

I am Spreading the Message!!!
Make farming a prestigious vocation!!!
This is a clarion call to the people of Benue state.
I have directed my energy to the farmlands in the last few months and the entire landscape where I have chosen is now entirely green with various crops planted in expectation of good/high yield.
20 hectares of Soyabean in Raav,Gwer East Local Government Area
6 hectares of sesame plantation in Aondona village in Gwer West Local Government Area
13 hectares of Maize and 4 hectares of rice in Ikpaahena community ,Taraku,in Gwer East Local Government Area
40 hectares of Soyabean and 20 hectares of rice in Howe,Gwer East Local Government Area.
Farming is big business. I shall in my small way impact on farmers in the state to know that farming is profitable!!!
