The council of state today 7th September, 2016 confirmed the appointment of the Inspector General of Police, IGP Ibrahim KpotuM Idris, at the State house,the Council of State meeting was presided over by President Buhari. He was appointed back in June after Immediate past IGP Solomon Arase retired from office when he reached the mandatory 60 years retirement age.
