Unidentified woman snatches and disappears with 13-month-old baby in Rivers -
.
.
Chinazamepkere Eke was snatched in Rumuokurusi in Obio/Akpor LGA of Rivers State, at about 8.30 am on Monday, by an unidentified woman in a commercial tricycle (Napep), who then disappeared to an unknown destination. .
.
The abductor had ostensibly instructed the keke rider to get close to 6-year-old, Chinyere Agbai, who was carrying her younger sister, Chinaza, on her back, before snatching her.
.
.
The distraught mother of Chinaza, Ms. Oluchi Eke, 31, said she was in her shop where she sells provisions when she learnt that her baby girl had been stolen. Eke, who said she had separated with her husband, pointed out that she had not called her estranged husband to inform him about the development. .
.
She, nevertheless, defended her husband, maintaining that her husband, Okechukwu Agbai, cannot be involved in the stealing of her child.
