Ortom sends list of SOLE ADMINISTRATORS for 23 Local govts to state assembly for confirmation.

The Benue State House of Assembly today confirmed receipt of the list of Sole Administrators for the twenty three local government areas from Governor Samuel Ortom.


Speaker, Mr. Terkimbi Ikyange made the disclosure today during plenary session of the House, said the list was received through a letter from the acting Secretary to the State Government, Dr. Bem Melladu.

Mr. Ikyange however did not make public the names contained therein contrary to high expectations by many people who turned in to witness the sitting, including Journalists.[SEE THE LIST HERE ]

According to him, the House could not proceed with the consideration of the Governor's nominees which was also slated on the Order Paper due to the fact that many of the nominees were yet to forward their CVs.

He said as soon as the House takes delivery of their details, the last will be made public.
