Prof. Agada Named Chairman, Benue State Civil Service Commission.

Former Education minister, Prof. Jerry Agada, has been confirmed by the Benue State House of Assembly as the next chairman of Benue State Civil Service Commission.



Professor Agada who was school principal, permanent Secretary in over four ministries in Benue State, contested the 2007 gubernatorial election but ended up as a Federal Minister of Education (State) under the Yardua/Goodluck Jonathan government.

He has received many awards both in literature and in contemporary governance in Nigeria and around the world. He was named "Academic Person of the Year 2016" by the Idoma Governor Support Group (IGSG) and named best author by Association of Nigerian Authors (ANA).
