2016 Benue Fashion Week.

The BENUE FASHION WEEK, with its theme “Made in Benue” is a two day fashion event platform that aims to drive the Benue fashion industry and lift its profile by bringing together buyers, consumers, and the media to view the collections of fashion designers and other products by fashion entrepreneurs in Benue State.

Beyond the event the BENUE FASHION WEEK is a platform that will position fashion as a useful tool for commerce and job creation. And further emphasis the need for commitment to promoting and providing enabling environment for the industry to thrive.

MEET THE FOUNDERS
The Benue Fashion Designers Network is an association of young fashion designers in Benue State, which focuses at promoting, marketing and developing the Benue Art and Fashion culture both within and outside the state. The network also aims at creating a healthy and serious fashion industry in Benue State in order to expose its opportunities. The Benue Fashion Designers Network is committed to achieving its objectives through different organized programmes, workshops, exhibitions and runway shows.
The body is currently been lead by Hanior Dooyum, the Creative Director of Native Haven, a trained Engineer turned fashion designer.
