Boyfriend not poverty alleviation scheme – Reno Omokri
Former Special Adviser to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan on Electronic Media, Reno Omokri, has said having a boyfriend is not a poverty alleviation scheme.
He urged women to learn a trade or have a business instead of being dependent on a boyfriend to provide all their needs.
According to him, this will prevent many young ladies from unwanted pregnancy, Sexually Transmitted Diseases and heartbreak.
On his twitter page, @RenoOmokri, he wrote: “Start a business if you want a financial partner instead of getting a boyfriend.
“A boyfriend aren’t poverty alleviation scheme #RenosNuggets
“Poverty is a painful cancer. A job is like a pain killer to reduce pain.
“Having a business is like surgery to remove the pain #RenosNuggets
“Premarital sex initially gives you pleasure but eventually gives you pressure. Either by unwanted pregnancy, heartbreak or STD.”
