Former Lagos State First Lady holds ‘Time Out with Youths’ May 1

Former First Lady of Lagos State, Dame Emmanuella Abimbola Fashola,

FOLLOWING her passion  for youth development, former Lagos State First Lady, Dame Emmanuella Abimbola Fashola, will hold a programme with youths tagged, ‘Time Out with Youths’.This was disclosed by project manager, Leadership Empowerment and Resource Network, LEARN, Mrs. Bisi Awoyomi.

According to Awoyomi the programme was the eighth edition the organisation will be organising, and this edition will focus on issues.

She said: “The programme will focus on topics that will include ‘Who Am I?’, ‘Telling Your Story’ and ‘Keeping It Real’, and will be handled by respected resource persons like Dr Otivie Igbuzor of African Centre for Leadership, Strategy and Development; Mr Taiwo Akinlami of Gilgal Partners; Mrs Funmi Ilori of Mobile Library Initiative; Dr Martin Agwogie of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency and popular Comedian, KOFFI.

“Also, the former first Lady of Lagos State, Dame Emmanuella Abimbola Fashola, who is passionate about youth development and mentoring will be there to interact one-on-one with the youths that day and give the youths opportunity to meet with her.

“This eighth edition of ‘Time Out with Youths’ will take place at the Abalti Barracks, Funsho Williams Avenue (formerly Western Avenue) Surulere, Lagos.”

She also stated that interested youths in the age bracket of 15-30 years are eligible to participate and could call or send SMS to the mobile phone number 08076636465, or come early on the day of the event to register and admission to the event is free.
