BENUE : 210 poorest and vulnerable persons in 9 LGs to benefit from first batch of Social intervention funds in Benue State. PHOTOS.

Benue State Focal person for Social Intervention program, Engr Terhide Utaan has said that the first set of 210 poorest and most vulnerable persons in 9 local governments in Benue state will soon be paid ,he posted this on his Facebook timeline while encouraging more people to participate in their communities. See his post below.....

"For those who may have visited their hometowns lately you may have noticed some community work being done to select and rank the first set of the 210 poorest and most vulnerable persons in the 276 council wards of Benue State. And this ofcourse is limited to the 9LGA's of entry ONLY; Ushongo, Vandeikya, Konshisha, Buruku, Guma, Gwer-West, Ogbadibo, Ado and Oju.
The State Operations Coordinating Unit is doing a wonderful job and at the pace they are going, I believe they should be able to deliver to the state, a historic State Social Register by the second week of September, 2017.
Get involved. The process of selection is through a Community Based Targetting Approach. We all can and should participate in our various communities".
