INEC FIXES DATE FOR 2019 PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has fixed Saturday, February 16, 2019 for the presidential and National Assembly elections.
The electoral body made the announcement via its official Twitter handle on Thursday, stating that the election is exactly 505 days away from today.
It added that the gubernatorial and state assembly elections and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) council elections will hold on March 2, 2019.
INEC also announced that the timetable and schedule of activities for the Ekiti and Osun gubernatorial elections will be released on Thursday, October 5.
