News reaching us from Makurdi shows that Primary school pupils are protesting because teachers in Benue State embarked on an indefinite strike following the non-implementation of the minimum wage by the state government. This prompted the pupils to question over government over their careless attitudes towards primary school education in the state. The pupils who barricaded Benue Crescent to call on government to give urgent attention to education and save the plight of their teachers.
