TopNaijaMusic has launched a revolutionary music competition – THE BREAKTHROUGH ARTISTE OF THE YEAR!

Why this competition? The Managing Director, Paul Oghoghorie explained that The Nigerian music industry has improved a lot and many up and coming acts are doing great jobs in terms of recording great songs, but are not heard. TopNaijaMusic decided to put something unique together that will bring out at least one of such artistes to public knowledge. This is exactly what the Breakthrough Act of the year competition 2013 is all about.

So, the competition is about choosing the act with the dopiest recording of the year 2013. Yep. The dopiest, tightest, remarkable and most unique song of the year. So, if that song of yours is tight, then this is where it belongs.

THE MODUS OPERANDI OF THE COMPETITION

STAGE 1: Artistes will submit their songs using the form below and our in house music analyst will analyze all entries and shortlist 50 Hottest Fast Rising Acts of The Year 2013. At this point, these 50 Acts will assemble at an event in Lagos to pick up their award plaques. Song submission starts on Novermber 19, 2013 and closes on December 8, 2013. The 50 Acts will be announced on our websitewww.TopNaijaMusic.com and Twitter Handle @TopNaijaMusic on 10th December 2013

STAGE 2: The second and final stage of the BREAKTHROUGH ACT OF THE YEAR competition will begin immediately on December 10, 2013. At this point, online voting will kick off and end by midnight of December 29, 2o1.
