Suswam Flags Off "Governor Suswam's Free Medical Treatment Mission " In Vandeikya To Boost His Campaign For Senate.

Governor Gabriel Suswam of Benue State has provided ambulances to the Rapid Response Team set up by the Benue State government across the 23 local government areas of the State.
Suswam flagged off the presentation and free medical treatment tagged “Governor Suswam’s Free Medical Treatment Mission for Benue People” at the General Hospital Vandeikya, Benue State, said the scheme was in tandem
with his economic blueprint of providing a healthy and prosperous society stressing that he will sustain the scheme after his exit as governor of the state.
Explaining the duties of the Rapid Response Team, Suswam said was to take the sensitising campaign on Ebola to the 23 local government areas of the state stressing that emergency phone numbers have been given to doctors to
report cases of suspected diagnosis of Ebola in line with federal government directives adding that Benue had not recorded any case of Ebola Virus Disease (EVD). Terver Tule, the executive secretary, Benue hospitals management board, said 81 people
had benefitted from free surgical operations, while many patients were treated for different ailments.
Suswam also urged party members to brace up and ensure victory of PDP in the state, maintaining that the party is poised to clinch all the elective seats in the state come 2015. Suswam pleaded with the people to ensure that he gets nomination for the senate seat of Zone
A as a reciprocal gesture for the appointment of over 40 of their sons in his cabinet, adding to several developmental projects like electricity,
roads, schools renovation amongst others that he carried out in the area.
“In fact, by next week, I will inaugurate a
seven-man committee to actualise this. I will also ensure that the bill for the creation of first class chiefs in the state is passed into law before we leave office. So, I advise you people to start consulting amongst yourselves who
would be installed in these position in your domain,” Suswam said.
