Benue Youths Volunteer To Purchase Gov Suswam's Nomination Form.


Governor Gabriel Suswam's bid to the senate yesterday got a boost when Benue Youth under the aegis of Benue Youth in Diaspora Association (BYDA), volunteered to purchase his nomination form.

Decision which was reached after a consultative assembly of the group held in abuja yesterday, according to the youth was as a result of Suswam's steerling leadership qualities.

The Secretary General of the association, Hon. Terkaa Jam, who adressed press after their meeting in abuja, said they had volunteered to set an example to other leaders in the state and also spur Suswam to greater achievements.

Enumerating Suswam's achievements, Jam said, Suswam had moved the state from the status of a glorified village to a modern city. Also praising the governor's strides in provision of basic infrastructure and amenties to even the rural areas of the state.

He said the governor had in his eight year stay in the government instituted a culture of project management and accountability which has earned him their support.

They further added that after purchase of the form a balance of 2 million would be donated to Suswam's campaign organisation to be used for their mobilisation as they sell the candidacy for final endorsement at the poll.
