Sen.George Akume Picks Nomination For 3rd Term.

The Senator representing Zone B senatorial district in Benue state Senator George Akume today picked his nomination form to run for 3rd term.Sen Akume was the gov of Benue state  from 1999-2007 ,in 2007 he ran for senator and won as a PDP member.In 2011,Akume decamped to ACN and Re contested for senator and defeated his opponent in PDP.

Today,he picked up his nomination for to run for Senator again today amid cheers from his supporters..Apart from Sen Akume ,nobody in APC is running for Senator in that zone so he is the sole candidate.The was serious traffic in Makurdi town today.
