Barr Damian Dodo Picks PDM (Peoples Democratic Movement) Guber Ticket For Taraba State Governorship Election.

You remember Barr Damian Dodo SAN? he is Senator Mark's lawyer,that lawyer who won all Mark's tribunal cases,i wonder why PDP did not give him ticket,well even ministers lost out at the primaries.
Damian who is also the National Legal Adviser of the Peoples Democratic Movement (PDM)  has picked the party’s ticket to vie for the governorship election in Taraba State.
Dodo, a former member of the Taraba State House of Assembly who also served an adviser to Governor Danbaba Suntai, said he emerged as the governorship candidate of the PDM by consensus.


Speaking with newsmen on his ambition, Dodo said he decided to present himself to the people of Taraba as a governorship candidate under the platform of the PDM because he believed he could provide effective leadership.
He denied allegations that he was conscripted into the race in order to help in the bid for a power shift to the southern part of the state in 2015.

“I did not on my own come out to contest this election. It was as a result of consultations from people, having known my background and pedigree. Therefore, whether the presidency or any other person supports any candidate is immaterial to me.
“My primary aim is to ensure that we provide good and qualitative governance, to institutionalise democratic norms and customs the way they are practiced elsewhere in the world. We will ensure that our people are provided the needed dividends of democracy.”
