The Valedictory session was held inside the Exco hall at Government House Makurdi.

The Benue State Commissioner for Rural Development and Cooperatives, Mr. Aondowase Chia, slumped and later died in the hospital.

Chia died at about 6.30am at the Benue State University Teaching Hospital, Makurdi.
