APC New Generation Initiative Back Senator Bukola Saraki For PresidentOf The Senate.

A group known as APC New Generation Initiative, has appealed to the
leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to consider Dr Bukola Saraki as the next Senate president.

The group in a statement noted that Saraki's sterling leadership qualities will bring about a productive federal government under the leadership of Gen. Muhammadu Buhari.
The group said in a statement signed by it's national coordinator, Mallam Balarabe Rufai that "the National Assembly as a pacesetter for other arms of government requires a stabilizer to prudently direct the affairs and create an enabling environment for proper implementation of government policies.
"We are not oblivious of the fact that our country is at a crossroad at many fronts and urgent actions are required to salvage the situations and restore normalcy to our polity at all fronts.
"To brave the odds, a man of outstanding capabilities and clear- headedness deserves the seat of the
Senate President to put issues into proper perspectives".
It added that "the essence of collaborations between the National Assembly, Judiciary
and the Executive Council cannot be overemphasized for the smooth running of government in Nigeria and at this is best achievable with a stabilizer like Senator Bukola Saraki as the Senate President.
"We are not unaware of the scheming among gladiators in APC over the seat in contention but a proper view at the profile of Senator Bukola Saraki and his achievement in previous offices held seriously compel us to appeal to all the leaders of APC to consider him for the seat.
"APC New Generation Initiative is a progressive group in APC dedicated
to a system change and adequate participation of young people in government, we view Senator
Bukola Saraki as a link between young and old people in government, while we do not
berate other contenders for the seat of the Senate President, but without any fear
of contradiction consider Senator Bukola Saraki as the best man for the position of Senate President."
