Suswam & Tarzoor In Fresh War.

There are strong indications that the PDP in Benue state are immersed in crisis following its defeat by APC in the just concluded election.
According to recent investigations, the crisis rocking the PDP is not unconnected with the  disagreement between the party’s candidate  in the 2015 governorship polls, Rt. Hon. Terhemen Tarzoor and state governor, Dr. Gabriel Suswam, over  the latter's decision to challenge APC's victory at the Election Tribunal.

According toAti's Blog, the two PDP leaders are warming up for war against each other over the matter as Tarzoor has  allegedly accused Suswam of  betrayal.

Trouble started when Tarzoor on deciding to challenge his loss at the tribunals, approached the state executive committee of the party to sign his petition to which they all declined, with the state chairman, Dr. Emmanuel Agbo telling him that his alone in the suit.

This decision which was seen to have come from the governor to whom all the party’s executive owe allegiance was seen as a malicious attempt by the governor to further frustrate Tarzoor who was rumoured to have also been short changed by the governor during the election campaigns.

To further worsen the belief was the governor's petition against his opponent, Sen. Barnabas Gemade after the party in the state had claimed it was not going to challenge any of its elections at the tribunal. Tarzoor and his team saw this as a malicious action.
Meanwhile it has also been revealed that the disagreement has even led to Tarzoor and his team which have formed a cabal Whithin the party to petition the state governor and the state executive committee to the National Working Committee alleging anti party activities.
According to our source revealed that part of the contents of the petition is Suswam's alleged romance with the Senate Minority Leader, Sen. George Akume, who he has openly declared his support for his Senate Presidency campaign.
It is believed that the only reason delaying the investigation and hearing of the petition is the current crisis rocking the National leadership of the party and supporters front the Tarzoor camp are hopeful that on resolution of the crisis the party’s national discipline committee will look into the matter with a view to suspend or even expel the governor.
