FMBlog Follower,Linda Adzuanaga Shares A Picture From A Police Cell InBenue. Please Click To read & share your thoughts.

Apparently Linda visited one of the local police stations around and this poster on the wall caught her attention, she now decided to share. This is crazy why will the police allow this to be pasted in their station...And again she talked about the deplorable cell, well at the moment NHRC is monitoring Police Stations and Prisons I hope they will take note of these places.please click to read it.

I was a guest at a police station in a village somewhere in Benue State. Specifically Ikpayongo Gwer East LGC. No I wasn't compelled like Bukola Saraki 😀I went to bail one of my tailors who got enmeshed in some kind of love triangle. This poster caught my attention and I decided to share it for two reasons ; first the hilarity of this phrase cannot be enjoyed by only me, make una follow laugh. Two, the state of this police station is beyond deplorable. A mud ramshackle, rundown structure, the rusted iron roof is a sorry sight. The inside is something else, the stench can wake the dead! The walls as can be seen are filthy. What is supposed to be cell is more like a cage for animals, can't take more than two people. There is one old bench, a mortar has also been converted to a chair, a broken plastic chair and wooden table is what the police sit on to take statements in a tattered note book. Most of the officers sit outside because there aren't chairs. The door here leads outside where there is an open building that serves as the convenience. How do these people work effectively, if they have more than 3 suspects where would they be held? I don't want to mention an armoury or any of those other features in a proper station. I call on the House of Assembly Member from Gwer East, Member House of Representatives Mark Gbillah, to please do something about this. With the level of crime in this particular place, the cops here need to be equipped and housed in a proper station.
