Gov Ortom Urges Political Camps On Social Platforms To Cease Bitter Exchanges And Embrace Each Other.

Benue State Governor Samuel Ortom calls on supporters of his administration and those of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, to put aside political sentiments and join hands for the progress of the state.
Governor Ortom urges the two camps to cease bitter exchanges on and off social platforms and embrace each other in the spirit of the new Benue which his administration promised the people of the state.
According to the Governor, his victory at the Supreme Court is for every Benue person as it has helped to deepen democracy in the the state and country. He says Prince Terhemen Tarzoor has already congratulated him just as he has extended an olive branch to the PDP candidate and his supporters so there is absolutely no reason for their supporters to continue with the hot exchanges.
He says Benue was the winner at the apex court.

Governor Ortom believes that only unity and cooperation can guarantee peace and development not insults and false accusations by some persons.
He says the time for politics is over same as the time for litigation. What is more important now is for the present administration to be supported to deliver its promises to the people.
The Governor reiterates the commitment of his administration to meeting its set goals for Benue State. He thanks the people of the state for their prayers and unflinching support all through the time that the legal battle lasted.
Governor Ortom is optimistic that Benue will overcome the current economic challenges and the people of the state will have cause to rejoice that they made the right decision at the last elections.

Terver Akase
Chief Press Secretary.
