Letter Of Appeal From OGE GRACE ONUOHA To Assist Her Obtain A #Prosthetic Leg.

 

I am OGE GRACE ONUOHA and I hail from Awgu L.G.A of Enugu state. I hold a B.Agric in Agricultural Economics & Extension from University of Agriculture Makurdi, Benue state. I am a 26 year old graduate who had the misfortune of being hit by a vehicle in Ibadan shortly after my NYSC on 3rd July 2015. 

While thanking God for sparing my life, my right leg was amputated above the knee after series of failed surgeries. Currently I rely on crutches for movement with its attendant limitations. Recently, I underwent an orthopaedic evaluation where the use of prosthesis was recommended to enable me walk on my own. 

The cost of the prosthetic leg is Two million, Five Hundred Thousand Naira (N2,500000). In a bid to obtain the prosthetic leg, my immediate family has raised part of the money, although the amount realized so far is still way below the cost. Recently I became a member of an NGO called Helping Hands International who have created a platform where friends and. sympathizers can donate Six Thousand Six Hundred Naira (N6,600) for this cause.
