Deadly Islamic sect,Book Haram launches Radio Station? Cameroonians already receiving signals?
There are clear indications that the deadly Islamic sect boko haram has taken a new dimension to upgrade its terror activities through the establishment of an FM radio station. Reports gathered from the Hausa version of the Voice of America (VOA) confirmed that the people of Tolkomari (a settlement in the far northern part of Cameroon) are already receiving the radio broadcast of the sect via 96.8 fm.
According to the news gathered from VOA, the said Boko station broadcasts mainly on propaganda and anti-government campaign refuting the reports that the Nigerian government is winning the war against the sect.
Report says the development worries the Cameroonian government and it has set up a team to investigate the exact location of the radio station which is likely to be on the boarder linking Nigeria and Cameroon.
This has however attracted mixed feelings among the people of Nigeria and Cameroon as expectations are high on seeing how the Nigerian government will rise to the occasion and handle the matter as a matter of urgency.
