APC Chieftains Disagree Over Who Speaks For Party.



Fresh crisis looms in the All Progressives Congress (APC) as the National Chairman, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun and the Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the party, Comrade Timi Frank, are at logger heads over who should officially relate with the media for the party.

While Oyegun in a media chat with reporters in Abuja stated that with the absence of the National Publicity Secretary, Lai Mohammed, the National Secretary of the party, Alhaji Mala Mai Buni, speaks for the party, Frank, also at a different chat with journalists in Abuja stated that he is constitutional positioned to speak for the party.


According to Frank, who was elected as the deputy national publicity secretary of APC at it is national convention, the constitution of the party is clear on the role of deputies.

He cited examples where the Deputy National Chairmen presides over the activities of the party in the absence of the National Chairman.
