Crystal Palace reach agreement with Liverpool to sign Christian Benteke in £32m deal

Crystal Palace have agreed a £32million deal with Liverpool for striker Christian Benteke.
The Belgium international travelled to London on Thursday afternoon to undergo a medical after Palace revised their bid.
Liverpool dismissed an offer earlier this week of £23million plus £7m in add-ons with the bonus payments considered unrealistic by the Anfield club.
Benteke joined Liverpool last summer for £32.5m from Aston Villa and they have been determined to recoup their outlay despite the 25-year-old being told he would barely figure if he remained at the club.
