Boko Haram video of purported Chibok girl worries parents

The Boko Haram jihadist group has released a video claiming to show Chibok schoolgirls who refused to be rescued as part of a recent swap deal with the Nigerian government.

In the three-minute video, a woman who claims to be Maida Yakubu, one of the 276 schoolgirls kidnapped by Boko Haram in April 2014, is seen wearing a black veil and holding a gun.

Flanked by three other women clad in black, she proclaims her loyalty to Boko Haram, which has been fighting the government since 2009 in an insurgency that has killed over 20,000 people.

When asked by a man in the background why she does not want to return home to her parents, she replies: “The reason is that they live in the town of unbelief. We want them to accept Islam.”

The woman then speaks in the local Chibok dialect for the rest of the video.

But the woman’s mother believes she did so under duress.

“For me, this video is torture,” Esther Muntari told AFP on Saturday from Chibok. “I haven’t slept since I watched it

The tie that binds us is unbreakable. It’s just not possible that my daughter prefers her kidnappers to me,” said the mother of five. Maida is the oldest at 19.

Muntari said the woman mentioned Islam, she “immediately understood that she had been forced to say what she said in the video”.

Last week, 82 schoolgirls who were kidnapped three years ago were released in exchange for imprisoned Boko Haram members after negotiations between the extremist group and the government.

Presidency spokesman Garba Shehu later disclosed that one girl had refused to leave, saying she had married a Boko Haram fighter.

Analysts said it was likely that others may have developed sympathies for their captors over time.

“The video has instilled fear in our minds and has somewhat dampened our hope that our girls will be freed,” Enoch Mark, whose two children are missing, told AFP.

“I don’t think any of our girls would choose to stay with Boko Haram if they were given a choice,” Mark said. “The only explanation” is that Maida was “forced to stay”.

– ‘Complex situation’ –

Testimony from former hostages in the brutal conflict has revealed that Boko Haram forced many women and young girls into marriage, and that rape and sexual violence were commonplace.

Some were forced to work as domestic slaves for extremist fighters and even deployed to the front line carrying ammunition during attacks.

“From what we know of other young women who’ve returned, the relationship with their captors is very complex and at times quite ambiguous,” Elizabeth Pearson, a Boko Haram specialist who studies women and conflict, told AFP in an email exchange last week.

Genuine relationships will emerge, as not all fighters behave brutally to the women in the camps, particularly if children are involved, she added.

“It’s a much more complex situation than the abducted-rescued-victim narrative we’ve seen at times,” she said.

The Islamist militants seized the Chibok girls in April 2014, prompting global condemnation and drawing attention to the bloody insurgency.

Fifty-seven escaped in the immediate aftermath. Of the 219 who did not manage to flee, 106 have either been released or found, leaving 113 still missing.

– ‘Mere propaganda’ –

Boko Haram also released a second video on Friday claiming to show five commanders that the Nigerian government freed in exchange for the 82 Chibok girls.

In the video, a man who identifies himself as Abu Dardaa, or Money, says Boko Haram has returned to Sambisa Forest, which was long its stronghold in Borno State, and is preparing to bomb Nigeria’s capital city of Abuja.

The threat comes as Nigeria opened another round of talks for the release of more kidnapped schoolgirls.

The Nigerian military said in December that it had driven Boko Haram from Sambisa Forest.

On Saturday, a statement by Brigadier General Sani Kukasheka Usman, an army spokesman, confirmed that the man was among those freed in the exchange, while calling the video “mere propaganda”.

“He was a direct beneficiary of the process that led to the release of 82 of the abducted girls, and does not have a say or capacity to do anything, therefore his threats should be ignored,” the army said.

While the jihadists have lost significant swathes of territory since Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari came to power in 2015, they are still capable of launching deadly attacks on soldiers and continue to unleash suicide bombers in cities and camps for internally displaced people in Nigeria’s ravaged northeast.

"I Am Not Happy For Davido" – Ayomide Who Claims To Be Singer's Baby Mama

Pop singer, Davido, welcomed his second daughter, Hailey, in America from his second babymama, Amanda. While it seems like the world is happy for him, there is a particular lady, Ayomide Labinjo, who could not care less about the new addition to his family.

The young lady had accused the singer of impregnating her about three years ago and abandoning his responsibility as a father. Even though Davido has publicly denied the child, Labinjo had since dared him to come out for another DNA test but the singer has refused.

In a chat with Saturday Beats, the young lady said that she is not happy for the singer even though it seems the world is happy for him. She queried why he would take care of his other two children and be a doting father to them but refused to do the same to their alleged child, Mitchell, whom she claims to be his first child.

Our lawyer has sent a letter to Davido’s father since April 20, 2017, we have not got any response till now. I am not happy about this whole situation. Why would I be happy for Davido? He should be taking care of Mitchell the same way he is taking care of Imade and I know how he is going to take good care of this one. What is my own offence?” she queried.

When asked if she does not feel that the way he treats them could be a possible sign that the kid probably does not belong to the singer, she challenged him to have another DNA test.

“What do you mean please? Then why isn’t he coming out for the DNA since he is denying the little girl? Why has his father refused to get back to the lawyer? David is the father of my daughter, at least I was not raped. I know who impregnated me! Besides, if he doesn’t want to go for the DNA, he has siblings. Let them come out or probably go the traditional way to know if she is their daughter or not.

“I don’t know and I don’t care about any ‘Americana;’ all I want is for him to take care of Mitchell. She’s also his daughter and first child for that matter,” she said.

"I Am Not Paralyzed!!!": Man Said To Be Paralysed After Visiting Edo Cries Out

The man said to be paralysed after visiting his village in Edo state has reached out to me to debunk the story of his paralysis that is flying online, including Nairaland. Here is his rebuttal.

My attention has been drawn to a defamatory story being circulated onli‎ne with the malicious title "Man paralysed two days after visiting his home town in Edo".

In the said story, without any form of verification from me, I was alleged to be paralysed after visiting my hometown in Benin, Edo state.

I hereby debunk the story   as same is filled with half truths and outright lies. While it is true that I recently took ill, I was never at anytime paralysed and same definitely has nothing to do with my travelling to Benin or being from Benin.

My family and I have been subjected to numerous embarrassing calls as a result of this story. This has greatly affected my reputation.

Sequel to the foregoing, I hereby state that I am not paralysed. I equally did not mandate anybody to publish my medical condition on facebook or any news channel.

Accordingly, I hereby demand that all traditional and online newspapers who have pulished this story, immediately withdraw same, while urging others to desist from spreading this false story. I have equally instructed my lawyers to take out legal proceedings a‎gainst the online news media that initially t published this story.

I thank my friends, family and well-wishers who have called to show genuine concern about my welfare after they read the story.

Nephew Of Fashion Designer Carolina Herrera Found Brutally Murdered In Venezuela

Venezuelan-American fashion designer Carolina Herrera — who became famous for dressing a long list of First Ladies including Michelle Obama — learned that her 34-year-old nephew was murdered by a gang in Venezuela on Thursday night.

According to NBC Miami, Reinaldo Herrera, was having dinner with his business partner, Fabrizio Mendoza, 31, at a restaurant in Caracas, Venezuela, when a group attacked and abducted them.

The gang threatened his family that they’d be killed if their ransom request wasn’t met. However, even after the money was handed over, the gang murdered and stashed their bodies in a truck along a highway just outside the city.

Authorities are still investigating their cause of deaths and how much money the gang received from the family.

Just hours after the heartbreaking news came, Herrera gave a statement about her family’s shocking loss: “The family and I appreciate your kindness. Our only hope is that the tragic assasination of our young nephew, Reinaldo and his colleague, Fabrizio will serve to mitigate the terrible carnage and murders that are committed against our youth in Venezuela. The Electoral Results must be respected. The Communist Dictatorship must go.”

This Nigerian Surgeon Removed A Lady's Ovary Instead Of Her Appendix.

A 59-year-old Nigerian Senior Surgeon, Dr Lawal Haruna, who reportedly removed a woman’s ovary accidentally instead of her appendix has been struck off after being branded a ‘danger to patients.

He allegedly botched up three operations over the course of two years including removing a woman’s ovary because he said the appendix and fallopian tubes were similar ‘worm-like structures’ in the same area. The unnamed woman, known as Patient B, was treated by him when she was admitted for abdominal pain while he was working for Sheffield Teaching Hospitals Trust in Sheffield, South Yorkshire.

During the operation, one of her ovaries was removed leaving her appendix – which was causing her great pain – in situ. A tribunal heard how it was lucky she was not of child-bearing age as it could have affected her fertility.

Dr Haruna botched up two further operations mistaking a lump of fat for an appendix in one case and a skin tag for a harmful lump in another. Colleagues described the operations as poorly executed and ‘never events’. Haruna who claims to have 25 years experience later dismissed the incidents as ‘trifling errors’ and said the appendix and fallopian tubes were similar ‘worm-like structures which lie in a similar area.

The surgeon, who represented himself, told the Manchester hearing he had ‘poor vision’ at the time he carried out the surgery and claimed it would be ‘harsh’ to strike him off. But at the Medical Practitioners Tribunal Service a disciplinary panel found him guilty of misconduct and banned him from treating patients.

Ebola: Nigeria on red alert

The Management of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) has assured Nigerians of adequate surveillance at the nation’s airports following the outbreak of Ebola virus in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

The World Health Organisation (WHO) declared an Ebola outbreak in the Democratic Republic of Congo on Friday, saying that at least one person had been confirmed dead due to the virus in the country’s north-east.

Mr Henrietta Yakubu, FAAN’s Acting General Manager, Corporate Affairs, spoke to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Saturday, saying that there was no direct flight from Congo to Nigeria.

Yakubu also assured that all the preventive measures being put in place at the airports were still in place.

She said that the Port Health officials were at alert at all airports, adding that the authority had also informed them of the need to increase surveillance.

“We don’t have direct flights from Congo, we only have from Rwanda but I want to assure members of the public that we still have all preventive measures in place at our airports.

“There are sanitisers at our arrivals with the scanning apparatus called Thermal scanners being installed by the Port Health Services.

“The scanners have camera monitors that display pictures aside the capturing of temperature.

“Passengers still fill that form to ensure that everybody arriving the country through our airports are not potential carriers of deadly diseases.

“The port health officials are always at alert and we will also inform them of the need to increase their surveillance. So, there is no cause for alarm,” she said.

Nigeria experienced the Ebola virus in July, 2014 when a Liberian American, Patrick Sawyer, who had the disease flew from Liberia to the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos and died five days later.

In response, the Federal Government observed all of Sawyer’s contacts for signs of infection and increased surveillance at all entry points to the country.

Nigeria was able to curtail the disease and was subsequently declared Ebola free by WHO.

Muslim cleric, Muhammad Alarefe demands ban on ‘sign-of-the-cross’ by Christian players

World football governing body, FIFA has been called upon to ban Christian players from making the sign of the cross after scoring a goal or for celebrating victory.

A Muslim cleric from Saudi Arabia, Mohammed Alarefe made the call, urging FIFA to write it into the game’s laws that players be prohibited from tapping their stomach, chest, left shoulder then right shoulder to make a cross.

Alarefe, who is a professor of religion studies at King Saud University in Riyadh, made the call via his Twitter handle.

However, some of his followers quickly flooded his message with disagreement.

A number of people pointed out to the Muslim scholar that a huge amount of players kneel on the ground and kiss the floor in celebration of a goal, mimicking the Islamic prayer.

Alarefe wrote via @MuhammadAlarefe, ‘I’ve seen video clips of athletes, soccer players running, shooting and when they win they make the symbol of the cross on their chests and my question is if FIFA’s rules forbid this.”

While people of all religious backgrounds, including Christianity and Islam reacted to his opinion, many condemned the cleric, saying it incited division.

‘You wash toilets at Aso Rock Villa’ - Fani-Kayode, Buhari’s aide, Lauretta Onochie, attack each other.

Former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode and Personal Assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari, Lauretta Onochie on Saturday exchanged words.

Fani-Kayode had joked about a statement by Acting President Yemi Osinbajo that the President treats him as a son.

In response, Onochie stated that Fani-Kayode had some loose nuts in his brain.

She wrote, “MUST FFK SPEAK ON EVERYTHING?

Commenting on everything is an indication that there are some loose nuts, upstairs.

“Acting President Yemi Osinbajo saying Muhammadu Buhari treats him as a son and a friend, has become a source of anger and anxiety for Femi Fani-Kayode, alias #FFKFood4Dance

“But who can blame him? He cannot understand father/Son relationship, respect, decency & loyalty. No he can’t. He doesn’t posses the capacity to even begin to comprehend any sort of relationship. None!

“According to his former boss, Pres. Olusegun Obasanjo, all he understands is the correlation between looted Food and his mouth. Give him some looted yam and he will dance. Till the loot runs out….

“#FFKFood4Dance and his co-mischief makers, cannot, no matter how they try, put a wedge between our two leaders. The bond that holds our leaders together, is not personal. It’s their shared commitment to Nigeria and Nigerians.

“It won’t be broken by those who speak and act as if they are on the white stuff.”

Fani-Kayode in his response said Onochie washes toilet at the Presidential villa.

He wrote, “There is an ugly duckling that washes toilets in the Villa called Loretta who is running her mouth. Truth is I don’t respond to hired help especially when they look like a used tampon. For me to respond to such an ugly, lousy and shallow creature she would first need to get a facelift and then a big promotion. Let the walking corpse that she works for wake up and speak for itself. Then I will respond.”

Trouble: Family of child with medical disorder & Kate Henshaw clash over raised funds

The family of Michael Alvarez, a two-year-old child diagnosed with “Ulcerated Infantile Haemangioma”, has accused Nollywood actress, Kate Henshaw, and Project Alert, a non-governmental organization, of misinformation and a “deliberate campaign of calumny” over funds raised for the treatment of the disorder.

Ms. Henshaw and the NGO had come to the child’s rescue, last year, and had begun soliciting for funds from the public for treatment.

PREMIUM TIMES learnt the child’s mother is of unsound mind and her whereabouts unknown.

In a press statement obtained by PREMIUM TIMES, the child’s family accused Ms. Henshaw and the NGO of “playing Lord over the family all because they had helped raise funds for the care of Baby Michael.”

The family particularly described the actions of the NGO as “malicious and dubious.”

“They, however, forgot to understand the full legal implications of soliciting for funds for the care of a minor,” the statement, issued on Friday, said.

“It is, therefore, the desire of the family to work with any other nongovernmental organization with a similar objective in a view to use the public funds already raised to take care of Baby Michael as that is the primary reason for the funds raised.

Ms. Henshaw had, through Project Alert, intervened to help save Baby Michael’s life after seeking and obtaining the family’s consent early last year.

“It must be said that the family and Project Alert enjoyed a cordial working relationship in admitting Baby Michael to Lagos University Teaching Hospital until the medical staff of LUTH embarked on industrial action sometime in June 2016,” the child’s family continued.

“Consequently, Baby Michael was moved, along with his grandmother, to Project Alert’s shelter at 21 Akinsanya Street, off Isheri Road, Berger, Lagos.

“In November of 2016, the family began to ask if any arrangements were being made to fly the baby out for medical treatment as promised, particularly as Baby Michael was not showing any visible improvement.”

But Project Alert, the child’s family stated, said they raised about N6 million, a disclosure which led to a dispute between the NGO and the family.

The dispute led to Josephine Chukwuma, Project Alert’s Executive Director, allegedly threatening to use the Department of Social Services under the Ministry of Youth and Social Development to deny the family access to their child.

“Mrs. Chukwuma went ahead with her threat when on 23rd day of December, 2016, officials from the Lagos State Ministry of Youth and Social Development visited LUTH with the stated intention of directing officials of LUTH to discharge Baby Michael for onward admission to a motherless babies’ home.”

The family said it then demanded full custody of the child after learning that Project Alert had withdrawn its care “without any notice to the family.”

“We hereby reiterate our call for a full, audited account of monies received and expended on behalf of Baby Michael and to use the said funds for his healthcare.”

Phone calls and text messages to Ms. Henshaw were not responded to.

But Mrs. Chukwuma, responding to PREMIUM TIMES enquiry, described the attitude of the child’s family as “unfortunate.”

She added that the account housing the funds raised for the baby’s treatment had been audited.

“That is why we announced at the press conference of May 3rd, 2017, that since the family asked us to back off in February at a meeting with the Director of the Child Protection Unit, Social Welfare Department, Alausa,” the Project Alert boss said, “We can no longer keep people’s money, so we are refunding the monies.”

“It is unfortunate that while a sick child is staring them in the face, the family (his aunt, Syndi, and the boy’s grandmother) are busy antagonizing and insulting the very people who came to their aid.

“The family is busy telling lies all over the place to people who would be initially sympathetic but when they get to know the full story, would try calling them to order and they will reject and move to another.”

Mrs. Chukwuma said they had already begun contacting those who donated money for the child’s treatment for their refund.

“People have contacted us and we are collating the requests in preparation to start refunding,” she said.

“50 percent of the money was donated by Kate Henshaw and her friends. You ought to see the insultive text messages she has been sending to Kate. Kate said she’s done with the family and regrets trying to help.”

While denying claims of a promise to treat the child abroad, Mrs. Chukwuma said the first five weeks of the boy’s stay in hospital were solely paid by Ms. Henshaw.

“How could Kate promise treating the child abroad when she didn’t know exactly what was wrong with the boy and had not thought at the time there would even be a need to do public fundraising?

“They said they contacted a hospital in India that gave them a N12 million bill and they showed us. Lies. Even their first lawyer, Bisuga & Co. can attest to that. We had a meeting with them in November 2016 and Beacon Solicitors is their third lawyer.

“They said we refused to continue Baby Michael’s medical treatment. Lies. She (Syndi) asked both the Social Welfare and Project Alert to back off, just because based on the medical report from a consultant at LUTH, the Social Welfare went visiting their home at Ikorodu and decided to place the boy in an orphanage for a period of time to help monitor and ensure good hygiene and strict adherence to his medical needs,” Mrs. Chukwuma said.

Anti-graft Agency Suspends Probe Of Emir Sanusi

The Kano State government’s anti-corruption agency has suspended probe into the financial dealings of the Emirate council.

The Kano State Public Complaints and Anti-corruption Commission was investigating alleged misuse of N6 billion. The state’s House of Assembly launched a separate investigation of the Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sunusi II, following allegations of funds misappropriation, “defamation of character, breach of oath of office/oath of allegiance, abuse of office privileges and protocol, and political and religious interference”.

The chairman of the anti-corruption body, Muhyi Gado, said the commission was suspending its probe “indefinitely”. He said the commission could not continue as the House was also conducting an investigation.

Mr. Gado declined further comments.

But a source said that the commission viewed the investigation by House of Assembly as interference and an effort to scuttle the probe.

“We are not happy with the coming in of the House of Assembly into this matter and we cannot continue doing the same thing with them; that is why we allowed them to do it themselves,” the source said.

“You see many would rather see the House interference as purely political while our own has nothing to do with that. We do things professionally according to the dictate of laws.”

The source said the commission was prepared to resume the probe if the House allowed it.

EFCC Submits Indicting Call Logs Between Ricky Tarfa And Judges

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has submitted to the Lagos Division of the Federal High Court details of alleged telephone conversations and text messages between Nigerian lawyer, Rickey Tarfa and a High Court judge in an ongoing bribery case.

At the resumed hearing Thursday, Danladi Daniel, a detective with the anti-graft office, informed the court of details of several calls and text messages traced to Mr. Tarfa, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, and Mohammed Yinusa and H.A. Ngajiwa, both of the Federal High Court in Lagos.

Mr. Daniel, while under cross-examination by Mr. Tarfa’s counsel, Abiodun Owonikoko, said the lawyer and the judges exchanged bank account details over the phone in an alleged attempt to pervert the course of justice.

“On January 2, 2014, there were three text messages between the defendant and a member of his staff stating that they were in court for a case to be assigned before Justice Yinusa.

“There are biometrics captured by MTN communications of the defendant and Justice Yinusa, the voice communications were from Tarfa’s MTN, number- 08034600777 and Justice Yinusa’s MTN number-08035967291,” Mr. Daniel said.

But Mr. Tarfa’s lawyer countered the allegations against his client, saying the EFCC had no case because it allegedly obtained some of its evidence by deceit.

“The defendant’s phones were retrieved by deceit by the operatives of the EFCC; they told Tarfa’s driver that his boss was requesting for his phones and when he brought the phones, they were seized,” Mr. Owonikoko said.

He further stated that the EFCC obtained the call logs after it had already charged Mr. Tarfa to court, adding that anti-graft officials also allegedly failed to prepare a citation of his client prior to his arraignment.

“The phones did not become an exhibit of the EFCC until Feb. 9, after the defendant was charged,” Mr. Owonikoko said. “You did not try during the course of your investigation to profile Rickey Tarfa and his law firm.”

But Mr. Daniel read aloud details of alleged voice communications including late —night calls— between Mr. Tarfa and Mr. Yunusa.

“Esther Agu, a staff of the defendant, made a payment of N2.5 million into the bank account of Justice Yinusa.

“Based on the account records, the payments were made on May 15, 2015.

“The payments were made when there were three EFCC cases in which Tarfa was the counsel for the opposing parties before Justice Yinusa.

“The communications started sometime in February 2015 and ended sometime in September 2015 after judgments were delivered in those cases.”

He also said Mr. Ngajiwa also avail Mr. Tarfa details of his bank account for alleged gratification.

“There were some text messages between Justice Ngajiwa and the defendant on October 16, 2014, in which Justice Ngajiwa sent his Guaranty Trust Bank details to the defendant.

“The defendant also sent another person a text message on that day to pay $5, 000 into the bank account of the judge,” Mr. Daniel said.

But Mr. Owonikoko played down any serious links between his client and the judges.

“The EFCC has no evidence directly linking Rickey Tarfa’s chambers to the bank accounts of the judges.

“Our findings revealed that the alleged UBA bank account which belonged to Justice Mohammed Yinusa, belonged to someone who bears the same name, one Mr. Mohammed Auwal Yinusa,” he said.

Mr. Owonikoko tendered an affidavit sworn by Justice Yinusa’s alleged namesake that claimed ownership of the said account but said his client was in touch with the judges as acquaintances.

“Justice Yinusa was one year junior to Rickey Tarfa when he was studying law at the University of Maiduguri from 1982-1986 and they are friends.

“Justice Ngajiwa worked at the chambers of Rickey Tarfa for over 17 years.

“Ever since Ngajiwa became a judge, Rickey Tarfa has never had a case before him.

“Before Ngajiwa became a judge, he had over 300 cases he was handling at the Rickey Tarfa chambers some of which Tare still pending in court,” Mr. Owonikoko said.

The presiding judge, Aishat Opesanwo, adjourned the case to July 7 for the continuation of trial.

Mr. Tarfa was first arraigned by the EFCC on February 16, 2016, on a two-count charge of obstruction of justice and attempting to pervert the course of justice.

In July 2016, the National Judicial Council dismissed Mr. Yinusa on multiple grounds of official misconduct in a matter not entirely related to the ongoing case of allegedly receiving bribes from Mr. Tarfa.

Paris Jackson Shares Topless Photos, Love of Being Nude

Last night, Paris shared so much of herself with us, including but certainly not limited to -- brace yourselves -- a couple of topless photos.

The first one she shared on Snapchat:

Cute, right? She's doing the classic Miley Cyrus move of using emojis for pasties, there's even a dog in there. A top notch Snap for sure.

But the second topless pic she put on Instagram. And this one was a little different.

For one, it's a little more artsy -- black and white, no emojis. It's basically museum-worthy.

And for two, she added a lengthy caption along with the photo explaining why nudity is so important to her.

"I'll say it again for those questioning what I stand for and how I express myself," she began.

"Nudity started as a movement for 'going back to nature,' 'expressing freedom,' 'being healthier,' and was even called a philosophy. Being naked is part of what makes us human."

She wrote "For me it helps me feel more connected to mama gaia. I'm usually naked when I garden."

"It's actually a beautiful thing and you don't have to make it sexual the way many Hollywood stars (and the media) do."

"Not only is your body a temple and should be worshipped as so, but also part of feminism is being able to express yourself in your own way, whether it's being conservative and wearing lots of clothes or showing yourself."

Paris, who seems even deeper than we originally thought, goes on to explain that "There's different ways of absorbing mother earth's energy."

"My favorite is earthing which is absorbing the earths vibrations from contact between the soil and your bare feet, as well as letting your naked skin absorb the rays of the sun."

"The human body is a beautiful thing and no matter what 'flaws' you have, whether it be scars, or extra weight, stretch marks, freckles, whatever, it is beautiful and you should express yourself however you feel comfortable."

See what we mean about being beautiful on the inside as well as on the outside?

"If this makes some of you upset," she continued," "I completely understand and I encourage you to maybe no longer follow me, but I cannot apologize for this in any way."

"It is who I am and I refuse to shy away and keep my beliefs a secret."

Amazing, right?

"Everyone has an opinion and everyone has their beliefs," Paris finished. "We don't always agree with one another and that's okay. But again, we are all human, and to appreciate the things that other people do that makes us human helps us feel connected."

"How can that be a bad thing?"

Paris Jackson, everybody. A real, true gem.

Mandy also distributed relief materials and mobilized the trained IDPs with some materials to start up their small chop and bead making  businesses.

In her post on her facebook page,Mandy said her aim was to help the displaced persons especially women to become self reliant.

She later  shared relief materials like cloths, shoes, sleepers (flip flops), detergents, soap, flour, sugar, rice, indomie and Condoms.
Over 150 IDPs participated.
