Gaddafi's Son, Khamis Killed In Tripoli.

Khamis
As the Libyan army is continuing its assault of the anti-regime stronghold of Bani Walid, media speculate Khamis Gaddafi was captured during the siege and died of wounds.
Reports on Twitter confirm that Khamis Gaddafi, Colonel Gaddafi's son, has been found alive in Bani Walid, this comes after earlier reports on Twitter that he had been captured by the government forces.
RT is unable to verify either version at present.
The version which says the seventh and the youngest son of the Libyan former strongman has been captured also claims he sustained serious wounds and died, reports Al-Arabiya citing own sourses.
Khamis Gaddafi was said to have been killed by a NATO airstrike in August 2011, but this has never been confirmed by evidence. After that his death has been claimed several times by the new goverment's fighters and various militia groups.
Earlier in the day, the office of the Libyan Prime Minister also stated they had arrested Mussa Ibrahim, Muammar Gaddafi's former spokesman.

Ex-Customs Chief, Son And Family Of ASP Killed By Boko Haram In Yobe State.

Suspected Boko Haram gunmen killed seven people in Potiskum, Yobe state Saturday, taking the death toll to at least 30 for three days of violence in the northeastern town, police and residents said.

Among the people killed today were a retired customs chief, his medical doctor son and wiped out the family of an ex-police officer, police said.

“I have received reports of the killing of a retired controller of customs and a retired police officer and five members of their family by Boko Haram gunmen in Potiskum this morning,” Yobe state police commissioner Patrick Egbuniwe told AFP.

Egbuniwe said the gunmen killed the ex-customs officer Ajiya Waziri and his medical doctor son, before the attack on the police officer and four members of his family.

Residents said Waziri and his son were abducted from their house and taken to the outskirts of the city where they were shot dead. Their bodies were dumped on the roadside.

A domestic staff said around 10 gunmen took away cash and other valuables from the house before setting it ablaze.

“Their bodies were found with bullet wounds on the outskirts of the city later today,” he said.

Residents said the gunmen also broke into the house of Haruna Adamu, a retired assistant superintendent of police in Sabon Layi area of the city.

“It was past midnight when I heard several gunshots followed by screams which woke me up,” said Tabiu Hamza, a neighbour of the slain police officer.

“Some neighbours including myself rushed to the house after the gunmen had left only to find all the five members of the family, including Haruna, his wife and three children dead,” he said.

Potiskum, the commercial hub of Yobe state, has been hard hit by near daily Islamist attacks in recent weeks.

A wave of attacks by suspected Islamists that began on Thursday had already left at least 23 other people dead and several buildings destroyed.

A nurse at the Potiskum general hospital spoke of 20 bodies being brought to the morgue, while residents said three bodies were buried by their families following explosions and shootings in the restive city on Thursday.

“We now have a total of 20 bodies brought in yesterday from the attacks of the previous night. Initially 11 bodies were brought and nine more were received later,” a nurse who asked not to be named told AFP.

“Most of them have gunshot wounds but some had their throat slit. The bodies included that of a police sergeant and a prison warder,” he said.

Residents said the toll could be higher as some relations had taken some bodies from the streets for burial.

“I participated in the burial of three residents who were killed in the attacks. I was at their separate burials yesterday. These are the ones I know. There could be several others,” resident Hamisu Nababa told AFP.

Explosions and gunfire shook the northeastern city Thursday, with residents reporting that several schools and a government building were burnt.

A military source said some buildings had been destroyed by homemade bombs and a security checkpoint was attacked in the latest deadly incident to hit the city, a Boko Haram hotbed.

Residents reported heavy deployment of troops and armoured vehicles in Potiskum on Saturday to forestall fresh violence.

Boko Haram’s insurgency in northern and central Nigeria, including killings by security forces, is believed to have left more than 2,800 people dead since 2009.

Singer, St. Janet's Hubby Caught Sleeping With Her Daughter.

News broke early this week that the not-yet-one-year-old marriage of highlife act, St. Janet (real names Omotoyosi Kayode Iyun), is heading for the rocks.
The popular and controversial Lagos-based female singer, reportedly, caught her hubby and band leader with her teenage daughter and which she got from an earlier relationship.
The marriage to her heartthrob, Olukayode Samuel Iyun, was only consummated two years ago. Hence, throwing the leud-singing high-life diva of National Broadcasting Commission-banned Faaji Plus fame into unhappiness.
Iyun, incidentally, was her long-standing band manager, until they both wedded quietly two years ago after dating for over a decade.
It was reported that the development rattled the fleshy singer and she promptly, packed out of her matrimonial home in Alagbado area of Ijaye, Lagos.

That matter which promptly went viral and attracted broadcast comments, particularly in Lagos, reported that she caught her husband sleeping with one of her daughters. The 16-year-old-girl (name withheld) was from St. Janet's previous marriage. The girl came to spend the last holiday with her mother and step-father at their Ilapo Estate, Alagbado home.

St. Janet was said to be happy at the opportunity of being reunited with her daughter who was before then living with one of her relations. Unfortunately, her joy turned into despair as rumours started making the rounds about an amorous relationship between her daughter and her new husband.
Her suspicion were then cleared when she allegedly caught her husband making love to her daughter inside her matrimonial home.
Sources close to the musician said the despicable act had thrown St. Janet off-balance and dejected as she allegedly swore never to forgive her man who is best known in the industry as Kay.
It was learnt that the development has forced the singer to move to an undisclosed hotel within the neighbourhood to fend off contact with Kay.
However, close sources to the singer are playing down the development, saying the only problem between the singer and her husband is a minor misunderstanding that will be resolved soon.
However, contrary to the general notion that Saint Janet has parted ways with her husband of two years The Nigerian Compass on Saturday, gathered through reliable sources that the story may not be true. Reacting, a close source to the family, told our correspondent that it was just a way of "rubbishing" the controversial but successful singer and her husband.
"It is not true. Kayode is a responsible man, he cannot stoop so low. Kayode was with her last Friday at the 8th anniversary of Owuro Lawa ( A Yoruba magazine programme on Lagos Weekend Television, LTV). Besides, St Janet's daughter is just 14 or 15 years old. How can a reasonable man sleep with that kind of girl?" our source asked.
The couple met 12 years ago in Abeokuta, Ogun State but got married offically two years ago. They have since been blessed with a year-old son, Orinayo Michael.
The lewd performer caused a big stir when she made a debut with her album entitled, Faaji Plus. Interestingly, the controversial album instantly became a hit, despite its controversy.
It was one of the most played songs at parties, pubs and clubs while the lady became one of the most-sought after live show performers in the industry.

Rihanna’s Friends Spill The Beans About Her Pregnancy.

Rihanna covers her bump
Pregnant singer Rihanna arrived at a Los Angeles recording studio at 2 a.m. wearing sweats and using her Gucci handbag to cover her tummy.
So far Rihanna and her camp have been tight-lipped about Rihanna’s pregnancy and for good reason. RiRi is reportedly very upset that word leaked about her pregnancy. She had planned to announce her pregnancy as part of the promotion for her new album. But those plans have been scrapped.
Instead, she and the baby’s father, Chris Brown, will make a “special announcement” after the album drops.

Aluu 4-Suspected Killers Make Their Statement.

Aluu killers

13 members of Aluu community have been arrested in connection with the killings so far. Three of the suspects however spoke to pressmen and recounted their roles in the lynchings/eventual murder.David Chinasa Ugbaje (30) said a policeman joined in beating the youths; another was pleading that they be released.

Ugbaje said;

“Around 7 am, I left my house. I dressed up to go to work. On my street, I saw a crowd of people with four unclad boys, who were being led into my compound, No. 9, Royal Villa in Omuokiri-Aluu. I said what was the problem and they said the boys were armed robbers. I said that is my compound, let us go and see the person, if he is their member or let them point the particular person, who is their member they were going to look for”. Click to continue.

“I opened the gate, they entered. A crowd of people that I could not control. They entered the compound. They pointed to the room of one of our co-tenants, whose name is Bright. They said one of the boys was staying with Bright. When they got there, Bright’s door was locked. Some people wanted to break the door”.

“They started beating the boys. Very serious. Along the line, two policemen came around. One of the policemen was pleading. The other policeman joined in beating the boys and later said the crowd should hand over the boys to them, but the crowd said ‘no’. ‘We no go gree, we no go gree’.

“As the policemen were leaving, they said whatever this thing was going to bring, you would bear the result. Since I live in the yard, I said if I stayed there and the people were killed, automatically, the house would be in trouble. We are now in trouble. I brought out my belt; I started flogging people and asked them to leave the yard. I was beating the people (crowd) very seriously”.

“One Ikwerre man in the crowd asked why I was beating the crowd for the boys to be moved from our yard. I continued to beat the crowd to carry the boys to where they brought them from. I drove them out of our compound and gate. They injured me in my hand, when I was trying to open the gate”.

“I started flogging for them to leave. There is water in our (house’s) frontage. They went there and soaked the boys (four) inside the water. I discovered that one of the boys was my customer on campus, at the University of Port Harcourt, where I work. He was an Igbo student. I asked the boy: are you a student?

“If you watch the video, you will see me where I held belt, asking the boy. The boy told me ‘no’, that he was not a student (of UNIPORT). Quite all right, I knew him very well. He once bought slippers from me and used to repair slippers from me. I am a shoemaker at UNIPORT”.

Maybe the boy was afraid to tell me he was a student. There was nothing I could do because of the crowd. If I talked more than that, they could join me with them.

“The beating was going on, here and there. At the end, they finally moved the boys out of my street. I then went out. My wife has just been delivered of a baby.”

On his role in the lynching of the four students, Ugbaje said: “I flogged the boys twice.”

Amadi, alias Kapoon,'s role

“I live at No. 9. Royal Villa in Omuokiri-Aluu. I am from Ikwerre. I work at UNIPORT. I am a printer. I do photocopying and binding. In the morning on that day, I dressed up, as usual, so that I could go to my work. When I came out at the junction, so that I could pick a bike, I saw a crowd of people, with four boys. They were unclad, with tyres on their necks”.

“I shifted a bit, but to verify what was happening, they told me the four boys came to rob. I asked where they were taking them to. They said they were taking them to No. 9, where I live”.

They said they mentioned one of our neighbours. That they came to look for him as well.

“I followed the crowd. Before I reached my estate, they had already reached the house with the four boys in front of my neighbour, Bright, from Ogoni. They said they were looking for one of the boys. Before they came, the back door was locked. Some of the people in the crowd said they were going to break the back door. Others said no, they should leave the door, since Bright was not around. At the end, they started beating the boys”.
“They started beating the boys. In the process of beating the boys, policemen came, but they said no, they were not going to leave the four boys. I called this my neighbour (David Chinasa Ugbaje), with other neighbours, that we were not going to allow that kind of thing to take place in our estate that we would be in trouble.

“This my neighbour (Ugbaje) collected his belt. I collected a small stick, and we started chasing people, flogging everybody, to take the boys out of our yard. We started pushing everybody out, including the four students. They left their tyres, I said they should take their tyres out of the yard and we locked our gate.

“I flogged everybody, including the four boys, for everybody to go out. I beat one of the four boys twice and the other one, I beat once.

Segun said:

“My name is Segun Lawal. I am from Osun State. I live in Omuokiri-Aluu. I was in the house, around 6:30 am to 7 am. I am a taxi driver. I saw a crowd and I parked my car outside. I saw a police vehicle coming and I followed the police. I saw four policemen. I saw the policemen enter the gate”.

“As I reached the gate, they were beating the boys. I had to raise my hands up, to defend the boys. If you watch the video, you will see it. I wore blue polo shirt. I started pleading for the crowd not to kill the four boys. They did not listen”.

“The Policemen left immediately. I had to leave. As I left, I went to GRA (Port Harcourt); one of my customers called that I should take him to Obudu Cattle Ranch (in Cross River State).

“I came back on Saturday night (October 6). I was in my house. Policemen came to arrest me. I never had this type of experience. I told the police that I was not around. That I traveled to Obudu. I did not beat the four boys

Another Bestial Mob Video Circulates On Internet.

A young Nigerian lady has fallen victim of another mob action barely two weeks after the gruesome murder of four students of the University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT) in Umuokiri, Aluu Community, Rivers State.
The lady, who was accused of stealing a phone, was shamefully assaulted in the video clip, which has gone viral on the internet.
The incident took place at an upscale shopping mall in Lagos.
The mob descended on the lady, stripped her naked and beat her to a pulp.
This happened amidst cheers and jeers from onlookers who were busy videoing the detestable act.
Despite efforts to ward off the several blows rained on her, she had objects inserted into her private part by the mob.
At a point, a man successfully inserted a torchlight into her private part, while others held her legs apart to make the bestial act easy.
All efforts by the helpless lady, who was weeping profusely and pleading, to cover her nakedness with both hands, failed, as the mob tugged at various parts of her body.
Meanwhile, several reactions have trailed the disturbing video, with some describing it as an act that debased humanity.
They questioned the absence of security operatives in such an upscale shopping mall and why the internal security did not make an effort to hand over the suspect to the appropriate authority.
According to most saddened by the impunity with which the mob carried out their dastardly act, the mob action is gradually becoming an accepted behaviour, warning that it should be nipped in the bud before it gets out of hand.
They also averred that anybody accused of any crime is considered innocent except proved otherwise by the court.
No one, they stressed, has the right to take life or subject another fellow human being to dehumanizing treatment.
Unanimously, they agreed that security operatives should live up to their responsibility of securing the lives and property of citizens.

Michelle Obama and Ann Romney: Pretty in Pink at Presidential Debate.

It appears Michelle Obama and Ann Romney had the same idea when it came to the perfect color for tonight's presidential debate.
The lovely ladies were on hand in the audience at Hofstra University in New York Tuesday wearing hot pink as their husbands, President Barack Obama and Mitt Romney, faced off in a fierce debate.

Federal Reserve 'bomber' Who Plotted to Kill Obama.

The 21-year-old student behind an alleged terror plot to blow up the New York Federal Reserve also planned to target a high-ranking U.S. official, believed to be President Obama.Quazi Nafis, from Bangladesh, was arrested early on Wednesday after he allegedly tried to remotely detonate a fake 1,000-pound car bomb outside the building in lower Manhattan, only a few blocks from the World Trade Center.

The plot was foiled by a major FBI and NYPD operation which led to Nafis being supplied with fake explosives by an undercover agent.
New York City Police Commissioner Raymond Kelly said that a high-ranking official had been in the alleged terrorist's sights. Sources said that the official was President Obama.

She Finally Returned Back ........................

Firstlady,FirstMother and FirstSon
mama oyoyo !!!!!!
on arrival

welcome back my love....................

Dame Patience  Jonathan returned to the country on Wednesday after spending about seven weeks abroad.
Mrs. Jonathan arrived at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja from a foreign country widely believed to be Germany. She returned in one of the aircraft in the Presidential Fleet
As soon as she alighted from the aircraft, she denied media reports that she went abroad for cosmetic surgery. She also denied being an in-patient in a German hospital on account of a terminal disease, adding that her husband loved her physique.
She said, “I read in the media where they said I was in the hospital. God Almighty knows I have never been to that hospital. I don’t even know the hospital they mentioned.
“I have to explain what God has done for me. I do not have terminal illness, or (went for) any cosmetic surgery, more or less tummy tuck.
“My husband loves me as I am and I am pleased with how God created me.”
Abdominoplasty or tummy tuck is a cosmetic surgical procedure that is used to make the abdomen more firm. Wikipedia says it “involves the removal of excess skin and fat from the middle and lower abdomen in order to tighten the muscle and fascia of the abdominal wall.”
Mrs. Jonathan arrived at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja a few minutes before 4pm in a presidential aircraft. She was dressed in a multi-colour boubou with a matching headgear and appeared to have lost weight. She was received by family members and friends amidst singing and drumming by women, masqueraders and cultural groups in different uniforms.
The wife of the President, whose dressing was devoid of the usual heavy jewellery, said that the prayers of Nigerians sustained her during what she called her “period of trial”.
She said, “I am happy to be back in Nigeria. There are a few Nigerians that are saying whatever they like, not what God planned because God has a plan for all of us.
“God has said it all that when two or three are gathered in His name, He will be with them. Nigerians gathered and prayed for me and God listened and heard their prayers, so I thank God for that.”Mrs. Jonathan also dwelt on reports that linked her rumoured illness to her husband’s position as President.
She said, “At the same time, I will use this opportunity to address those who are saying that anybody that goes to the villa or Aso Rock will die.
“They mentioned (Sani) Abacha, they mentioned Stella Obasanjo, they mentioned (Umaru) Yar’Adua and other people. But those people, why didn’t they mention those ones that went there with their families, succeeded and they still came out alive?
“We should remember that Aso Rock is the seat of power and that is where God has ordained that our leaders should rule from, and to rule us right.”
She thanked her husband and members of her family, and expressed love for her fellow citizens. She said, “I will use this opportunity to thank my beloved husband, my children, my staff and all Nigerians for standing by me during my trial time.
“God has given me a second chance, to come and work with the women of Nigeria, the children and the less privileged. I have come to serve Nigeria. I have come to work with Nigerians. I am there for them.”
At the residence of the first couple inside the Presidential Villa, Abuja, the atmosphere was no less joyous.
President Jonathan and his mother, Eunice, led members of his household, staff of Women For Change Initiative, a pet project of the President’s wife, as well as presidential aides to receive her.
Except for the President who was dressed in his usual Niger Delta traditional attire, other members of the household wore T-shirts bearing different images of Patience.
Messages such as “We love you”, “We miss you”, “Welcome back” and “May you live long” were inscribed on the shirts.
Immediately the gathering sighted Mrs Jonathan’s convoy at 5pm, they launched into gospel songs. One ran, “Thank you God. You have done us good. Thank you God. Lord you have done us good. Thank you.”
Mrs Jonathan, after a long embrace with her husband, mother-in-law and children, greeted her aides afresh. She also joined in the dancing and singing before retiring into her residence with members of her family, close friends and top government officials.
Her media aide, Ayo Osinlu, who had earlier claimed that Patience was resting abroad after the rigours of hosting the recent African First Ladies Summit, told journalists that she would not grant any interview because she “needed to rest”.
As of press time, well-wishers who thronged the Presidential Villa to welcome the wife of the President included Governor Seriake Dickson of Bayelsa State, his wife and almost all female ministers.

How I Was Almost Killed By Fulani Herdsmen – Motorcyclist

Mr Eze in hospital

But for providence,23-year-old Ogbonna Eze , a commercial motorcyclist from Opi Community in Nsukka Local Government Area of Enugu state, would have been lying six feet below the earth. Eze, who is currently undergoing treatment in an undisclosed private hospital around Bishop Shanahan area of Nsukka, over an attack from some Fulani herdsmen, fled Kano State following the bomb attacks by the dreaded Boko Haram sect.
On that fateful day, October 1, 2012, he had conveyed two Fulani herdsmen from Opi Junction along Enugu -Makurdi Expressway , heading for their camp at Idodo Agu Ekwegbe, Igbo Etiti local government area on a special drop.
But midway into the journey, he got the shock of his life following an order from the men for him to stop, on reaching a market close to the camp. But before he could fathom the reason for the order, Eze who spoke to Crime Alert from his hospital bed, said they landed a machete on his head, which made him fall off from his motor bike.
As if that was not enough, his assailants brought out daggers with which they attacked him, chopping off his left ear in the process. At the end, he was abandoned in the pool of his own blood, while they absconded with his motor bike.

Recounting what he described as an unforgettable incident, Eze stated, “I did not know they had a sinister motive up their sleeves when they flagged me. It was when they asked me to stop that I knew something could be wrong. They forced me to a path from where they attacked me and made away with all the cash I had made for the day including my motorcycle.

Indian Man Sets Wife And 13 Month Old Baby Ablaze Over His Dowry.

Innocent victims: Pravartika Gupta (left) died and her 13-month-old daughter Idika suffered extensive burns after her husband and father-in-law set them on fire as they slept at their Delhi home
Pravartika Gupta and her 13month old daughter Idika

In India, female children are often regarded as a burden because tradition requires large dowry fees to be paid to the other family when they are married.
The country has among the highest female infant mortality rates in the world.
The ratio in the 2011 census was 914 girls for every 1,000 boys, in comparison to 950 girls for every 1,000 boys worldwide.
Female infanticide has been widespread in India for generations.
In 1870, the British colonial government passed a law to ban it, but with little effect.
Girls must be married off. And to achieve that a daughter's parents usually have to pay the groom's family a dowry of cash and gifts  often a massive burden on the parents' savings and income.
Boys are also likely to provide more of an income than girls. Dowries were outlawed in 1961, but the practice is still common and the law all-but ignored.
The arrival of ultrasound technology in the 1980s, which made it possible to determine the sex of a foetus, made sex selection much easier.
Doctors were banned from revealing the sex of a foetus in 1994, but only one doctor has ever been prosecuted for doing so.

This why a young Indian mother has died and her baby daughter suffered extensive burns after her husband and father-in-law set them on fire as they slept.

Gupta, 25, and 13-month-old Idika were attacked at their home in Delhi's Sarojini Nagar neighbourhood in a dispute over a dowry payment.
Mrs Gupta died in the city's Safdarjung hospital on Sunday morning, eight days after the attack which left her daughter with 55 per cent burns.

The technology graduate managed to make a statement to a magistrate shortly before she succumbed to her injuries.
She said they were asleep in bed on October 6,when a fire broke out in front of their bedroom door and nobody came to help.
A senior police officer told HindustanTimes.com: 'Her father alleged that the accused family members had demanded £11,700 as dowry from him. The harassment continued even as he paid £7,050 in cash to Pravartika's in-laws.
'We have arrested the victim's mother-in-law, but her husband and father-in-law are still at large.'
Mrs Gupta's uncles have claimed that her husband was also angry with her because he had wanted their first child to be a boy.
One uncle, Rajesh Gupta, told the Daily Telegraph that Pravartika had wed Ashutosh Gupta two years ago after both families agreed a dowry payment. This was to include a £15,000 payment and Honda City car to the groom's parents. But he claimed they then demanded a new apartment, despite her parents having spent £15,000 on the wedding and handed over £11,700 in cash.
Rajesh Gupta said: 'They said they had given a flat to their daughter's in-laws in dowry and we should do the same. They are economically well-off, but greedy.
'We bought gold and clothes for them on the baby's first birthday but they were not satisfied. A flat would cost between £35,000 and £117,000.
'They said you are not as good as we are. You must be proud to be our relatives and you must pay.'
He added: 'Why did he do this? He had everything - a beautiful wife, a beautiful girl, a prosperous house. What was in his mind we don't understand.'
Both her husband Ashutosh Gupta and father-in-law Ram Mohan Gupta are now on the run after police announced they would be charged with murder, attempted murder and making illegal dowry demands.
Her father-in-law suffered minor burns in the blaze, but discharged himself from hospital before police could arrest him.
Mrs Gupta's father Kshamveer, a doctor, told detectives that her in-laws  were torturing her both mentally and physically over a dowry demand of £11,700.
